TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED.

TEDxJUET

TEDxJUET is a local, independently organized event at JUET Guna that strives to recreate the unique experience found at TED, where the world's leading thinkers and doers congregate to share what they are most passionate about. We aim to provide a platform for curious individuals who seek to discover ideas and spark conversations in their own community. In the past we have successfully brought together people from across the length and breadth of our country along with locals in the past, to not just motivate our students but, also to inspire them to form a positive environment to stimulate the desire to collaborate and change not just the world of technology and innovation, but every field that they touch. It is an event that aims to celebrate and propagate the power of ideas among the denizens of the magnificent campus of JUET.

Theme : Untethered

In a world that constantly tells us who to be, how to feel, and how fast to move, "Untethered" is an invitation to pause and break free.

TEDxJUET 2026 explores what it means to live beyond invisible constraints: emotional, social, digital, and systemic. It is about loosening the ties that bind us to fear, conformity, comparison, and performative living and choosing authenticity over expectation.

As algorithms shape our choices and speed replaces depth, we often lose touch with what truly makes us human. Untethered brings forward ideas that challenge emotional numbness, inherited narratives, and limiting identities. It celebrates courage, the courage to feel deeply, think independently, and live intentionally.

Through lived experiences and honest perspectives, this edition of TEDxJUET seeks to reignite passion, reclaim emotional depth, and affirm individuality as a fundamental human right.

Untethered is not about escape, it is about awareness. It invites us to reconnect with ourselves, question what we've accepted without thought, and imagine more grounded, meaningful ways of living, relating, and creating.
